Kronkel began with a family holiday home, when Bekkie was built in Paternoster in 2008. A place to pause. A place where the ocean stretched endlessly and time moved differently.
What started as one became two when Paternoster Dunes Boutique Guesthouse was added. As time went by, our horizons of curated stays and guest experiences deepened and widened, each property finding its own character along the winding roads of this journey. Eventually, the road winds to the third addition, Sonsak self-catering. Kronkel is the thread that connects them: a curated collection of stays, each with its own soul but united by a love for this place, Paternoster.
